Desloratadine is an antihistamine that is used to treat the symptoms of allergies, such as sneezing, watery eyes, itching, and runny nose. It is also used for reactions to insect bites and stings and for some food allergies, or to treat skin hives and itching in people with chronic skin reactions.
Loratadine is known as a non-drowsy antihistamine. It’s much less likely to make you feel sleepy than some other antihistamines, however, some people still experience this.
