Amoxiplus is an antibiotic and works by killing bacteria that cause infections. It contains two different medicines called amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin belongs to a class of medicines called “penicillins”, which can be locked operation (can be inactivated). The other active ingredient (clavulanic acid) prevents the occurrence of this. Amoxiplus is indicated for treatment of the following bacterial infections in children and adults:
- ear or sinus infections
- respiratory tract infections
- urinary tract infection
- skin and soft tissue infections including dental
- bone and joint infections.
